been researching Crete and found that Shafer and Hunt are all under the same umbrella. Even use the same recruiting website minus the logo header. Are there differences between the three?
Crete, Shafer and Hunt. All the same?

Thanks SS, But still wondering maybe differnet loads, crete looks to be dry van, Hunt looks flatbed, Im thinking maybe Shafer is pulling reefer. Or am I wrong in deducing this based on the logo pics on the recruiting pages

No you are right. That is how they are set up separate divisions

Hunt has more of a maroon truck

Crete and Shaffer use their drivers and equipment interchangeably, meaning just because you hire on as a "Crete" driver you will be trained in refer operations and expected to haul refer loads as needed, same for "Shaffer" drivers being expected to haul dry van. They do not interchange drivers or equipment with the Hunt guys, they are flatbed only. The only place Hunt interacts with Crete or Shaffer is in the back office and at he maintenance shops, which are run under the Acklie Maintenance division.
Crete and Shaffer trucks are identical except the paint color, they even run the same DOT/MC numbers for the last decade or so, the Hunt trucks are spec'd to pull flatbed and run under different numbers.southtruck Thanks this. -
