    I really do shake my head sometimes.

    Have a load picking up at 1700 tonight in Sweetwater TN that I'm taking to Tulsa for an open drop by 23:59 tomorrow.

    Get a message from my ICR this morning.

    "Load is a plant shutdown load..pickup and delivery must be made on time...what time will you deliver"

    (Thinks to myself...just look at my ETA)

    I respond "as long as eveything goes as planned at shipper than I am looking at 1800 local time. I already called to see if I could come in early and they said no"

    "OK. Well I need you to call me before you leave delivery so I can let Customer service know it's there"

    (Thinks to myself "won't my empty call tell them that?")

    I respond "Ok but that is going to be after you leave for the day so should I just call in and let Green Bay know"

    "No you must only speak to me, ICA, or ICA#2. (Names not used to protect the innocent). And it has to be before you leave."

    "Well how am I supposed to get ahold of you if you are gone for the day"

    "good point. Call me in the morning"

    All this back and forth to make sure I'm going to get there in time cause it's so critical (I will) and yet here it is an hour after my scheduled appointment I still haven't see a door. And the 2 trucks ahead of me when I arrived 90 minutes ago are still in their doors. So that tells you I ain't getting out anytime soon.

    Somehow this is my fault right?

    That sounds normal around here now. It's like the new year meant they forgot everything and they need to be trained all over again.

    so this weekend my qc stopped working. I called IT support to explain that unit will start up and then just sits there for 15-20 minutes flashing the main menu home screen on and off multiple times and you can't use the device while it's doing that. The guy tells me it's a loose wire easy to fix just take it into one of the oc's to get it looked at. I'm trying to tell him it's a software issue and I've checked all the wires on the unit to make sure they were secure.

    So I get into the OC Monday and they send me to the express bay for the repair. The tech that's working there isn't really that versed in what to do beyond replacing tires and mud flaps. He decides to pull the black box and replace except after he pulls it he finds out they don't have any replacement units. They won't arrive until Tuesday afternoon. Someone tells him, hey just take this "test unit" and install that one so the driver can get rolling. (Anyone see where this is going yet? :banghead::banghead::banghead:)

    He puts the new unit it and tells me to keep the truck running for the next hour while it activates. So here I am idling:biggrin_2552: an hour goes by, still can't log into the unit and no activation. Another half an hour goes by and I'm getting pissed having to idle.

    I call IT and ask them what's the status of the activation. "Oh, we don't see any activation requests submitted for your truck and unit. It'll take 24-48 hours for it to activate. Just leave the engine running the entire time so the unit stays on" :biggrin_2551::biggrin_2551::biggrin_2551: I'm at this point livid with them, I ask if they'll be paying the fuel bill for me to idle that long, lol. Of course they said no.

    Tuesday Morning I get up and I can now log in to the unit. I log in and hand no workflow, the clocks on the qc are wrong, it's missing the 8hr click, all it showed was the 11, 14 and 70. I go shower and get breakfast and come back to the unit has logged me out. I try and log in and it doesn't accept my username and password anymore.

    Another call to IT :banghead::argue:

    Your next in line to have the unit programmed and activated, should be ready to go in 15 minutes :biggrin_25515: . 30 minutes goes by still nothing, I have a load that needs to be delivered now and I can't wait any longer for this to start working. I pull out my electronic paper log on my tablet and take off for the day. 5 hours down the road the qc starts sending me messages that they have detected the truck has moved and no one is logged into the unit :biggrin_25523:. Then my ICA sends me an email and asks me what's up 3 minutes after that qc message. Qc still won't let me log in and still missing the 8hr clock and no workflow :biggrin_25526:.

    I try again last night to log into the qc, let's me log in for about 5 minutes before it kicks me out, still no 8hr clock or workflow. This morning same thing. I'm not even going call the Idiot Team :biggrin_2558: today, so at this point I'm running paper logs with a qc that is yelling at me I need to log in when it won't let me, lol :biggrin_25521: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

    It's stuff like this that makes me want to find a company that has a brain and takes care of its drivers and stop treating us like numbers in a computer!
