I think this depends on where you are. Some states have got their medical card database up as I understand it. Just a question though. Why is carrying a small card in your pocket a problem?

Its not really a card for us in commiefornia its a big sheet of paper. Its not a problem but i have my medical card in my work clipboard, and thats the only personal information i have in that clipboard. If i dont have to carry it i can leave it at home and feel more comfortable leaving the clipboard in my truck when i go home. (Assigned trucks no slip seating)

Yes, you will be asked for it at one point, so why not keep it with you.

When did they stop issuing wallet cards as well as the long forms?

Ya, you gotta have it yo!

If your in a truck for sure, lots of companys require for driving anything tho...I mean, the cop wont ask if your in a 1989 toyota pick up truck, but will on a 10 wheel dump truck..

???? Been that way since i started driving in mid-2014. I had two medicals done since once at roadmaster then swift. Both times i got a long form medical and then a separate sheet of paper, regular sized, called a "medical card". Would be convenient as hell if i can get a real card. I suppose i could fold the card up and put it in my wallet but i dont like messing up important documents like that.

Keep my long form in my permit book and the 'card' in my log book binder along with a seperate form of ID.

Heard some talk of carrying it at all times but I don't think I'm going to get pulled over on the Harley and have to show proof of a current medical.

Now a days a smart fella would take a picture of it with his phone, keep it there, and send it to your email, keep it there..
