No, not that I know of. I do think vans made in Turkey are sold here. I don't even know which trucks are build in Turkey.

Here in the Netherlands we have 4 truck manufacturers, DAF, Scania (60% of all European Scania trucks), Ginaf and Terberg. The latter two build their trucks from parts supplied by other companies, with Ginaf that are mostly DAF parts, and with Terberg that are mostly Volvo parts.

Well , for some lips like tractor tubes and but cheeks like beach balls looks cool. I have never asked them to explain that to me as I realize its all in the eye of the beholder.

in my opinion another reason why US trucks have big gap is bridge law formula, if they move king pin deeper this would require longer wheelbase on trailer but on very long distances traveled by us trucks that would be no problem

    Price is an issue .
An Argosy has a limited space compared to a fairly standard conventional.
It in fact it has limited space compared to EU large cabs but that is due to ergonomic compromises due to various factors that I wont get in to right now.
Now the Argosy has the potential to offer more living space than any conventional with the same frame length.
The cost of engineering/manufacturing/maintaining a tilting cab of that length would cost way more than the fairly simple mounts for conventional cabs and hoods.
In operation a fairly simple front corner bump on a conventional may require a hood repair , perhaps a mount , a cac(intercooler)/radiator repair.
On a COE the same impact can be major in terms of repair costs and down time.
Then although good COE's give great ride quality they can require way more maintenance on the cab suspension if you travel on rough roads.
The whole life of a conventional works out cheaper and if they made COE's as large as conventional's they would be way more expensive.

As far as visibility goes many conventionals have come a long way and are adequate , you cant beat the big window COE's

In SA Jap , American and European trucks have been manufactured and assembled for years.
Mainly in 6x4 configuration between 400 to 550 hp mainly.
American conventional's only account for about 10% (guess) of sales although they are about 20% cheaper.
This is mainly down to just over 22ft length limit and inability to get enough weight transfer to steering for the limits here.

i dont know , prices here and in west europe are not the same,

you could buy scania like that less than 80 000€ maybe 77 000 , this is G cab nobody wants here, even R highline is not enough for our wishes , weak engine, small gearbox, no retarder.

    Cat sdp Thanks this.

That's odd. Scania has engines up to 730HP, and transmissions with retarder. I don't see any reason why you can't buy them in Croatia.

I don't know how much such a Jumbo combi would cost, but my guess is between € 150,000 and € 175.000.

nobody wants G cab, nobody wants truck without retarder.

Most of fleet trucks they sell here are R 450, topline, retarder, 3speed opticruise , W700+W500 tanks
Just a few chose specs other than that.

I do not know why, but retarders are not used on US trucks.

Yes, I know about Cat Brake Saver, but no ZF intarder, no Telma, no Voith!
