Hello,
can you guys help me find the best of the worst brokerage company to work/gain experience as an agent? I'm O/O with a couple of trucks. I have few O/O friends that are willing to haul loads for me because they trust me.
Thank you for your time.

Thank you very much for your time. I heard that CH Robinson is not something that I want to learn from, but I guess that there are not too many options right? I just want to do the right thing. -
Thank you guys.
what or how this type of work pays?
Is this an hourly, % or commission job? -
and there goes another to the dark side
chimbotano Thanks this. -

I would send resumes out and be calling people. You surely have contavts with some solid smallish brokerages already? That's where you start. CHR, if it was a good option which I dunno, they won't hire you if you don't have a college degree.
chimbotano Thanks this. -
Look for a smaller outfit that will give you a nice split. There are plenty if you're willing to do work.
chimbotano Thanks this. -
I agree with these other guys... stay away from CHR, TQL, and the other "big dog" brokerages... they will eat you alive unless you can move big numbers right away. Find a smaller outfit that cares about its employess and recognizes that their business only succeeds if the people doing the work feel that they are getting what they deserve. Definitely not as easy to find, but there are plenty out there.
dca and chimbotano Thank this.
