I would be looking at those deductions really, really closely. I'm guessing that you are either being cheated out of money or someone absolutely knows nothing about doing payroll. You likely have several thousand $ due to paid to you. An attorney might be able to get it.

 

I would recommend going with a good company. Right now on the small owner operator side things are pretty pretty tight. The rates are not good right now. I know you are in a tight financial bind. Be wise in your decision making I say that from experience I only made things harder on me by not stepping back. I hope you find the right situation that allows your family to prosper.

Do they do any outside truck leasing?

 

I will bet a large potion of that is health care. It can cost a ton.
