Well, the way I see it is... It's guessing, and you get good at guessing. :D You sort of get a feel for what needs to go where based on weight of whatever you're hauling and trailer type/style matters as well. This load of OSB scaled out at about 62,000 kg gross, axles weights are perfect with 24 feet of product on both decks, starting 1/2 foot from front on the lead and half foot from rear of pup (or 3.5 feet from front - 28 foot decks). Drives are maxed and both the tridem on the lead and the tandem on the pup are sitting at 70 psi in the bags.

But, very very easy to go overweight on axles if you're not careful.

    Old Iron Thanks this.

This rookie won't be bootlegging anything no matter what others may do. I have to keep my nose clean. However on my this load from ok to oh I did have to keep my tanks below half and take a dump to be on the safe side. :D

This truck can get up to about 18 mph pulling this load without a turbo, I just found out.

Been there done that. Sucked a boot half over the inlet too: 60 mph uphill with a load of cement on, then "boom! Fffffffppppppfffff" that gasping for breath sound a motor makes. Took me down to 10mph quick ugh

Dye Guardian and MJ1657 Thank this.

Yesterday was my first tarping job in 4 months. Might have to ask for a tutorial on here if this keeps up like it has been. PART_1454479088043_IMG_20160202_113337840_HDR.jpg

I spot the problem. Pile is to high. I'll be over with my pickup and trailer and help you out.

You will have to find it first in the snow.

I was going to say the tarping isn't the problem, the piling or lack thereof is.

PeteyFixAll, Old Iron and MJ1657 Thank this.
