If Swift wants dirty trucks, so be it.
Most of the terminals I've been to lately that had a washing machine, it wasn't turned on.
Is it really that much of an expense to wash the trucks?
Maybe it is.
Especially in the winter months when heating the water costs more, and trucks get dirty more often because of the road conditions.
I really doubt any customer will look down on me simply because I have a dirty truck.
More likely they will look down on me because of me being late or treating them badly.
Or if I myself show up dirty and smelly.
They don't see the truck as much as they see me. (And maybe smell me.)americanmadetrucker Thanks this. -

Rolling through the the scale with a clean truck always feels better than with a filthy one. Not saying it'll help but it sure won't hurt.

Yea but the DOT guy might want to do "required" inspections on a clean truck so to not get dirty. Some pretty boy DOT out there
MM3Deg Thanks this.
