Maybe it was her birthday or another special occasion they were celebrating by going to bk. Can't have it be ruined by someone who can't make a burger how you ordered it.

When I read the title. I couldn't help but think of the guy who ask the guy with the shovel to try and hit his hand,
then puts his hand over his face.

I do it all the time, usually every quarter. I have a particular scale house I go to when I'm in the area. The inspection guy is super cool, and I end up with a CVSA sticker every time. If he finds something, he usually let's me know without writing up.
Certain Coop's are pretty hard and will write you up for chicken @#$% stuff. Then when you go back to get it signed off, they tell you that have to reinspect the truck again and usually they will find something else new that the other guy missed. Been there done that. In the old days, long as you hot the fix it ticket sign off within 30 days, they would reinspect only the violation item and issue you your CVSA sticker. Not no more, only if you fix it on the spot they will issue one on that day. I hate surprises even though you do your pre check and think your all good, they always find something. To the OP, find a scale house that has pretty lay back people, and you will understand what my point is.

Lol I'd be pissed if it was my birthday and the BK guy didn't out extra pickles on my whopper.

Maybe it's just my cynical nature, but I have a feeling the OP is trying to be sneaky and score an easy company "Clean Inspection Bonus".....:biggrin_2552:

Few weeks ago i got pulled over at St. Clair,Mo scale on I-44 wb and it was the best encounter i ever had with dot officer.
The girl was so nice and polite, saying there was nothing wrong, that she pulled me becouse i was first truck crossing scale after reopening.
She did quick level 3,all good.
There was another girl doing inspection on pickup truck, also extremly nice. Don't know is it every day practice on that scale,or i was just lucky.

Lol yeah she was mad. Made a big show infront of everyone about it. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, once she said "I don't want my money back! I want a meal too so o can have a dinner with my family!" Part of me chuckled lol
