I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Got a VW Beetle. 6 speed automatic, black, alloys. Actually pretty nice. Drives like a Golf, which ain't a bad thing at all. Actually, that's because it's a Golf with a body kit. Got a lot of zip for a 2.0 four pot. I'm getting over 40mpg. Around town. Steering is a little firm, as is the ride, but with typical Teutonic precision. The flat bottom steering wheel is a nice touch. As is the manual shift mode.

Wonder what the turbo is like?

 

Watched Hail Caesar with The Hot Chick. Had dinner at Olive Garden. Got back to truck to discover we forgot to leave the heat on. Sitting here shivering while the bunk heater goes to work.

Hail Caesar was a much higher caliber movie than I thought it would be. From the previews I figured it would be pure satire. There's comedy to be sure, but the film itself is rather cerebral. I recommend it if you want something that will make you laugh and leave you thinking about your own life choices.

Hot Chick takes the Beetle in the morning to the library and I get to unhook and bobtail to the rental car lot to pick her up, then return and re-hook so we can get out of here in time to make delivery. We'll be at Kroger all night most likely, then back here Friday when we can finally write up the truck.

Gonna see Permits about that missing tag though.

#### its cold! The poor bunk heater is doing it's best, I got the mid cab curtain drawn (although the KW 680 design lets an awful lot of the heat escape), and we're still shivering! Hot Chick just went up to the top bunk still in her coat and jeans. I'm down in the bottom with long johns and socks, teeth chattering. I hope this piece of $&#@! starts in the morning.

 

Errands. Hot Chick is driving since I left my glasses. I'm not the best passenger. Or she isn't the best driver. Little of both, I think.
