Find an example where the driver was found not at fault then charged in civil court.

Read that one ages ago. The driver was at fault at your report will say he was found guilty of vehicular homicide. He had a shop falsify a dot inspection report to avoid regular maintenance on his brakes and a innocent civilian paid with their life. He deserves more than 3 years Imo. Talk about getting away with murder.

Like I said though find a case where the driver was found to be not at fault but then jailed for logbook falsification. Bet you cant.

I can't link them, but I know of two drivers jailed for false logs. Both of them served their time and got out. I also know of more then one situation where false logs were the centerpiece of a lawsuit after an accident. Most of these lawsuits are settled out of court and have none discloser clauses. I'm not going to get into a debate with you on this, but there is case law out there on this false log issue.

Why would I care or would that even matter? 9 times out of 10 the driver will screw up because of fatigue due to log book falsification.

Because I've already asserted it doesn't exist. If you are to disagree with me the burden to prove your case is on you.

Lol log book falsification and fatigue have nothing to do with each other. In fact I routinely stayed up 30+ hours on e logs with little to no sleep because my body couldn't sleep when it thought I should. I'm much more rested running "outlaw" than I ever was on e logs. Now if I need a nap I can take it without worrying about my 14 or finding parking.
