Finally heading to Dallas tomorrow morning with my new (old) truck. You're the only folks that can understand my excitement. Hope the shop guys down there don't find something to hold me back with during the truck's inspection Monday morning.

It's funny you mention hitting a pole. The last time I was at The Houston bulk OC I was quizing the instructor what was the most common accident they had and without a beat he replies ," If it's 4 feet high and yellow, we hit it!"

You should be alright, the Dallas shop probably couldnt figure out where their head begins and their ### ends.

I got my Freightliner 2016 and I took it to a great alignment suspension shop and yep it needed 2 shims and I also had them balance the steers....I called 4 places asking about balancing drives 3 said not needed unless super singles. My mpg legacy is 7.2 and I drive 70 mph plus all day have 45,000 miles on truck...no issues. But I completely agree with TennMans statement that steers really take a load factor etc....

ive had my company truck since March 2014 steer tires got put on the same month at 165k miles. truck now has 384kmiles on it with the same steer tires. my drive tires were changed out at the same time as well but number 9 and number 10 got changed out because a deer caused a slow leak on number 9. because new tires are on number 9 and number 10 the tread is wearing out faster on number 8 and number 7. truck is in the shop now for a PM I hope they change out all my drivers so i dont have to come in before the next pm for drives.

On a side note, I know i been a member for a whilebut I was curious if anyone knows if it possible to take a look at the choice board as im very curious about going to IC program. I been with the company for 2 and half years now and Im ready to make a change but I wouldlike to see the board and see if its simple enough to understand.....thanks for the info.
