Once again, I'm not getting email notifications of new posts on here.

A big hearty "thank you" to Wal-Mart in Arcadia,FL. Checked in 45 minutes b4 appt and anticipated getting out within 2 hours of appt (like they ALWAYS do there). Nope...4.5 hours after appt and then I have NO hours left on my 14. Pulled out of gate and finished an 8 hour break to work a split. This caused me to get home a day later.

Never fails. Every load to the house had a freaking issue of some sort. This one was no exception. Had I simply been doing a normal delivery and not going home, I'd have been in and out in 90 minutes flat.

It's almost seems like they can tell when a driver is going home after the drop and they say screw it, and take their sweet time to unload.

I don't understand some drivers. He wanted me to swap my load to Houston because he didn't want to drive up to snow country. Even said he hadn't seen snow all winter. Told him nope, been in that crap for a month and half. And, then walked off before he come up with any excuses.

Guess some people think they are special and don't have to deal with snow in the winter. That's probably why I spent so much time up there. Bunch of whinny ### baby's going.

If he did not want to see snow he should have declined the load.

Yep. Even tried to pull seniority (didn't know we had such a thing here) and said he's been here for 5+ years and since I only have two years here; he can get my load with one phone call. I said ######## and you can make all the calls you want. You ain't getting my load.

That happened this morning and no-one ever called. Hahaha.

Some people are "special" I guess.

Anywho....back to bed with me. Was just checking the forum over dinner.

Hey as long as the load isn't a money trap run it. So what if it has some dang snow. Some drivers just need to be coddled way to much any more. Nice to see that you said no Macho. Hate drivers that try and pull that crap. If he didn't want to go there he should have said no. I'm sure some one else would run it.

    MachoCyclone and crxdc Thank this.
