Not possible... Maybe a tablet running android?

I run CoPilot... I like it but not thrilled with it.

If all you need is a mapping program it might work fine for you. If you are OTR and you actually wish to use some of the added features they include in a $150 App such as Speed Limits or POIs... Forget it.

I will be getting a Rand McNally for my navigation and moving CoPilot to my back up or to use when out of the truck to get a quick idea where a load is going.

I have other complaints but those might just be my personal preferences and opinions so I will leave them out for now.

Copilot is all I've used 5 years now. For everything else. There's an app for free.
Copilot does speed. But like all other gps's. The highway signs are what you need. Speed limits are constantly changing. Besides, it's our job to pay attention to signs. And copilot has an apple flavor. it's not android only.

Which is sad to think that an app that sells for $150 can't do a certain thing correctly and yet a free app can... I guess after I pay $150 for an App and they offer me X then I really expect X to work at least as good as a free app.

Yea, I use CoPilot on both my iPhone and iPad... My comment was to the OP getting an "iPad from android"... Androids don't offer an iPad... But rather tablets... The name iPad is an Apple product not android.

But having that come up, CoPilot is also one of the least "Apple like" apps that I use... Compare it to Truckers Path Pro which has a fairly simply and clean UI and UX.

Now, if TPP offers Truck GPS at a decent price, that might be an interesting option too.

Not really... Most of the time it's not available and when it is available it's not actually correct.

Again, if a $150 App offers a feature, I would like it to work... If not, it's junk data/info and should be removed since it then calls into question the other features quality.

Just my two cents worth... Cheers!

It's speed is no different then any other gps. None of them will be accurate as they can't keep up as fast as roads change their speeds. NOR do they reflect truck speeds. And it's available most of the time for me.

I lost track of how many times utah alone has changed speeds. In the last 12 months. I've got 3 different apps. None of them are accurate and sometimes don't even read the same as the other apps.

That's besides the point, though. One shouldn't be worried about what the gps says and should be paying attention to the signs instead. :)

Copilot provides much better routing than others when setup correctly (make freeways strongly preferred and divided highways preferred). For everything else you can use Trucker Path. Also, if your tablet breaks you can put the app on another device.
