Just wondering what you paid for your tractor and how much insurance cost you. Do you run under someone else authority?

When I was at sysco I was the youngest driver there. All the youngsters quit because the work was pretty brutal and the hours long (you work 7 days sometimes, you just don't drive when you're out of hours, you ride shotgun and still lump cases 14 to 20 hrs a day).

Old guys are there because they have a family that depend on them. Not worth the toll it'll take on your body, you have to bend unnaturally etc and will jack up your body, good luck!

That's foodserivice in general a lot of turn over. I've worked in the warehouse for both sysco and Mclane foodservice. For the driver Id say Mclane would be a easier gig because how they select the pallets and load the trucks. Sysco u will dig all day cause 99% of the selectors could careless how they build the pallets racing against a clock and that's how u get paid. Mclane you build your pallets by stop so say you have stops 4-8 on a pallet you would pick all of stop 8 then 7 etc. Plus Mclane doesn't stuff the trailer as much they want you to come out of a side door with everything. And loaders will leaver you Atleast one door open so u can come in. Sysco trailer is stuff full and your Digging till u can get in trailer plus how they load they mostly want you to come out the back of the trailer

I went to my interview at Mclane today . Also did the road test . I need to do a drug test and a background check. As soon as those are good to go I will start working in 2 weeks.
