Finding hotshot loads are not easy right now. Finding loads that pay anything is even harder. These brokers will slowly run you out of business with these cheap rates there offering.

    Jimmie Daniels Thanks this.

Acme wasn't known for paying that great to start with. NO loads out there hardly right now. Find a way to cut your expense and other ways to make money for the time being. Don't believe the lie that if you have a class 8 you're going to do better they are facing same thing we are.

Called on a load today that was paying a full truck rate, 32 ft, 9,000 lbs, and they were paying $800 on 800 miles.

And they probably wanted it tarped and delivery next morning ?
Called on one 1.67 a mile not worth the trouble now days.
If you drive over 10 miles to pick one up you're going backwards from the start.
Think I'm going to try and get EBT .

Ha, not a bad idea. When you go to apply they will probably tell you your making to much money. You need to not work at all and have no desire to get a job then you will get approved.
