If I refused to work for a company that lies then I'd probably never be able to find a job.

 

The paid off truck vs the New truck with a payment will always be a fascinating argument. There are successes and failures on both sides. You can have new truck, with a warranty, be in the shop for 2 months as well. Or have 16 year old paid off truck never do much as give a peep.

 

Im doing ok. My average is about the same, but my revenue is down a little. I blame some of that on the weather. lol. This time of the year has always been slow for me. March through August has been good for me in the past. My last 4 Settlements has been great. I just have to work harder for loads. I hate to say this, but I carried 45,812 lbs the other day. You have to do things you wouldn't normally do at this point in time.

 

Hey thanks for the link. I don't actually have a truck now I'm saying since you are required to have 6 months or more of otr experience I will go that route and then get the truck. Hopefully the rate gets back to normal for you guys in the coming quarter better take advantage hahaa

 

I just curious why do you want to lease a truck? What wrong with being a company driver?

 

Yes experience is the key right now. That's were some of us, that has been doing this have a advantage. A new guy will starve right about now.

 

Haha I just turned 21 and I'm trying to retire(have cash flow investments) by 25. The quickest way to big money from my research is getting my own authority(llc). I definitely don't have the mind state of a million mile company driver of the month, not saying it's bad I just have different desires with my time. Not getting any younger you feel me.
