Absolutely nothing wrong with having a plan for life. It's a lot better than winging it day after day. That said, you're young, so tons to learn. Life will throw changes at you like you can never believe. You'll be adjusting that plan 25 times in the next decade, but give it your best shot. You're thinking a lot better than most dudes your age. Just don't get offended if a few older dudes think you're crazy. You can learn a lot from them and their life experiences.

really can't make this crap up...

saw a good load pop up with messed up appointment times (in the past)
called in.. waited on hold 15 minutes... they fix the appointment time.
Within 5 seconds of them telling me they updated the appointment I hit assign and it was already assigned to another driver.
Now I'm on hold to have my load that was supposed to go to that load removed
