    Nope, it's actually in Florida.
I'm gonna work another week or two then fly down.

I am thinking about selling the house and the car though. Am leaning towards it.

The heavy loads up here usually pay well..so I haul them.
I never threw in with the people who said to always run light.
Sure it would be nice but realistically you have to run anything that falls into your lap that pays good.

I believe you are correct when it boils down to the numbers. However, I was curious if the size of the load would affect your profit fuel wise.. to the point where a lighter load would end up being the same profit wise?

I'll put it this way...if a load pays low rate but is light as a feather like 10-20k lbs or less I will haul it if it meets my business goals, and heavy loads of its a low rate,i will only touch it if it's a short run under 200 no because anything over that for 40k lb load is not profitable for me...$2mi and up on heavy freight I pull on,runs that are 300-500no because I can still make a profit to my requirements for my business..
