Support Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products. (part two)

Update for 1.2gigs just came across my 720. (Looked like maybe Map burst ?) Still having lockup issues even with the new card. Starting to wonder if I have to wipe and reload everything.

 

It's not that one or the other is "better." The Android OS and the Rand GPS app are identical. The differences are: screen size, number of cameras, and battery storage. The T70 has 2 built-in cameras and the T80 has one. Both of them can attach an external camera as well. The T70 has a 2500 MaH battery (verses 4000) because it doesn't burn as much battery with the smaller screen.

Some drivers like the big 8" version, and some say it's a bit too big. Some drivers want a front-facing camera for Skype or video chat, some don't care about that. And a $50 price break (at the time of this writing if being sold at MSRP.)

 

I dont know...it wasn't me. I just thought about asking on here yesterday because it just started happening to me. But if you answered in another thread...could you link it to me so I can find an answer please. I don't want you to have to re-type it.

 

PNY Class 10 16gig, you sent me the file already. Map files got redownloaded then this update dropped.

Not locked sense the update lastnight, GPS seems a hell of alot more responsive. We will see if it lasts.

 

I would love to know WHY my 720 will reroute (change turns) because I stop someplace

today I was going from oasis truck stop in Detroit, MI. 4195 Central St. Detroit, MI. going to 7111 Crabb Rd, Temperance, MI.... it had me routed to I-75 south to exit #2 (that would be the right way) I stoppe at exit # to get coffee when I got back on I-75 it reroted the trip and now wanted me to go in to OH exit 210 go west then north.... this changed added 6 miles.....WHY...??
