Makes sense, but doesn't. And I have seen this too.

Logically, given the same parameters, shouldn't a given route remain more or less the same when making a pit stop? I mean, if you re-enter the route at the same point you originally left / stopped, why should it change? *scratches head*

Mark, the only response I will give that remark is that at your suggestion, I began perusing a support thread so huge that it had to be carried over to another. To give it a good shot, you know how much reading that takes.

The only reason I had time to do so was I found myself at a dealer for repairs that took 16 hours after a 12-hour work-day. I am being civil in this thread and trying to offer / find solutions rather than create more problems, so in your own words from another thread, why rehash what was already said elsewhere?

All you really had to say in the other thread was that a brand-new update that was not yet released appeared to have solved a very tricky bug that caused the issue I've been having.

As for posting novels, that last suggestion could have prevented a lot of that. That is far as I will go with that in this thread. It's not my fault that the answer I needed was in a 255-page thread that discusses a great many issues besides the one I had. Novel, indeed. Irony sandwich, anyone? LOL

Your parameters are the same but the road segments where you are at are not. When you first set the trip up it picks a route. But since it recalculated it see the roads around you and then determines a routed based upon your settings and the roads around you.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Start at the last post and go back about 5-10 pages. I did not say start from page 1. Common sense would dictate that the most recent issues would be posted at the end of a thread, not the beginning which goes back quite a few months.

I don't know what issue you are having since you mentioned so many things.

What kind of SD Card are you using?

If I recall your first post started off about a product release and the packaging. Nothing to do with any issue you may/may not be having and what the issue is.

    I wish a VIA wasn't treated as a stop...
a via is a go by this spot....(I want to use this road) but i don't want to know how far it is or what time I will get to that spot just use THAT road
a stop is just that a STOP...

if I need to put 1-5 VIA'S in a route to get it to route the way I want to go is fine BUT what I want to see is not what time I will get to the next VIA but what time I will get to my next stop....... my laptop base GPS does it that way...

Map screen/upper right - click on this and if you set for example for arrival time it will ask for "Leg" or "Total Trip", click on Total Trip and you will see what you are looking for.

    Thanks,

1 way to get around this is to build a route on roads you want to use.... like say just from US-6 to I-80 or from any point to any point you wish then save the route, the next time you will be using it just pull up THAT route and then add stops as needed to it (don't resave it) that way you will always have that US-6 to I-80 or what ever when you need it...... I have about 15 of them I use, that way I just pull up route XYZ then add the stops I need

NO it will not show what I'm asking....!! stop's and VIA'S are not the same thing and should not be treated as the same thing.... a STOP would be a pu, delivery, fuel stop....(someplace the truck is going to STOP)
a VIA is a spot you wish to go PAST... (use this road or off ramp)

the trips I run have a start, finish and up to 7 stops and VIA's (1-5) and take 1-3 days to run

I do trips like Louisville KY (start), Bowling green KY (STOP) Memphis TN (STOP), Little Rock AR (fuel STOP), Little Rock AR (STOP), Brownsville TN (STOP), Bowling green KY (STOP), Louisville KY (finish)..... VIA POINTS added are TN-155 west bound (going to Memphis) and west side of town on east bound (going back to bowling green) why..? because thou longer it's faster and safer than going thru Nashville.....
when I leave bowling green going to Memphis I want to know how far and what time I will be at my STOP in Memphis NOT what time I will be at TN-155 (briley parkway) VIA point

doing what you said when I leave bowling green going to Memphis I can only see how long it will take for ALL of the trip or just to the VIA point... other non trucking gps's do this right.....
