Was this with John Christner? I worked for this company, as a O/O, and know others that had leased with them and did way better than $600 to $1300 every 2 weeks, But they do get paid every week there, unless it has changed

The company I am doing a lease purchase thru is pretty fair. As long as the driver does the homework and reads his or her contract and understands what the word liability means they should be alright. It's hard work but anything worth while is.

Jim Palmer has a walk-away lease program, and they "say" drivers are dispatched to earn $4,500-$5,000/wk. Palmer may be serious about it. Also, some lease drivers make a living, pay off their rigs, and move on with success. Although I don't believe the percentage is very good.

I ended up not going to Bruegner, or any other lease, after all. Working for a small 10 truck company in SoCal delivering plastics to the farms and bringing produce back. Home on weekends and only drive in Cali and Arizona.
So far so good. -
