You'd think the geniuses at TDOT would open 1 lane in each direction in the southbound lanes

Median wall. How much wall would need removed on either end of the closure to make that happen?

Good point, but this is the second time the road was shut down in the last 3 years. Last time the southbound lanes slid off the side of the mountain. Maybe there shouldn't be a median wall in the first place

Not dollar signs, but a way to be in a truck i want and dont mind paying for. Cascadias are a piece of junk. No i dont have $15-20k for a down payment and it would take me YEARS to do so. Yes there is a risk, yes i am a rookie driver, but im in no way foreign to trucking. Im a third generation driver, and have diesel mechanics in the family. Do i know everything? No. Nobody who does this job knows it all. We learn every day. If a lease bites me in the butt that will be on me and so be it.

yeah, well, that's how most folks approach the whole "lease / purchase" deal, and they're mostly wrong. But that's not to say you might be the exception to the rule. Good luck, bub. You might win if you work...... a lot. Best wishes
