I couldn't tell you. The newest truck I've drove was a 2012 Volvo and that was in school, really nice truck however the sleeper had been modified into a backseat. The others were old school freight shakers

 

Also curious about what to expect during orientation? Standard dot physical, road test and videos?? Or is there more to it. And moose mentioned studying while I'm with my mentor, what will I be studying? And what kindve qualities am I looking for in a mentor I want someone who will actually teach me and not be an ###hole or disgusting. Bad hygiene is a pet peeve of mine. I can tough most things out as I need this change financially for my family, it's all about them so I'll put up with a lot to get back on my feet, I just want to make sure I can get the best possible training I can get, not someone who just wants the extra money and doesn't give a #### about the student. Any helpful advice is welcome. Negativity is not welcome.

 

Gotcha. Do you use paper logs as well as the e logs or is that legal?

 

Thank you. I'm also considering flatbed instead of the box. I know swift has some flatbed but with me being in Florida km probably sol on that. Thoughts?

 

It's all good. Who knows I might do a box for a while and switch I just don't wanna be in he truck all the time I'd like to be able to get out and get some exercise
