Let me ask this question.. Are you paying a full trk. ld. rate or a ltl. rate?
If full trk. ld. and he has other freight on, I would not be paying them full rate then.. Seeing how they decided to put other freight with your trk...

    I appreciate your input.
LTL. I fully understand that they will use the remainder of the truck also, etc etc. AND as I stated I don't care if it arrives Monday or Tuesday. I wasn't pushing to get it here today. The driver volunteered that he would be here Friday when I spoke with him on Thursday (and caught me by surprise) and when I followed up to get an ETA today at 1pm he chose to fabricate a breakdown story rather than just tell me he had 3 other stops, which I would have fully understood.

Also, apparently dispatch thinks he has long ramps to unload my truck but the driver says his ramps are only 6 feet long (he loaded using a loading dock at the farm that sold me the truck) and asked me for help unloading. Which I don't mind. I have long ramps. But now dispatch said I have to unload it or they will take it to storage, unload it with a tow truck and charge me for all three. I read my contract and I certainly don't see that. I think this is going to get weird., I hope not, but, the handwriting is on the wall.

Don't know why the driver didn't tell you he had other drops too.

I'm just gonna let it go down however it goes down. Once my truck's on the ground and he's gone none of that will really matter. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get it unloaded and let karma handle it.
    I'm still the proud owner of a 69 Pete!!:D

tsavory, macavoy and passingthru69 Thank this.

It baffles me too. I find the truth usually works out quite well.
