I'm having a heard time understanding how this happened? The article states the truck was parked meaning it was at a dead stop. So this dog popped both buttons and managed to press the clutch and shift it into gear? I never driven an automatic, so not sure how they operate.

Also,, not everyone pulls both brakes, I sure don't when it's cold enough to freeze. Also depending on the pressure, its easier to push in valves, custom handles more surface area for the dogs pads.

The part that threw me was the article stated the animal tossed the vehicle into gear? I'm guessing this is a writer/editor mistake? And the vehicle was actually in neutral. -
