I'm just stating that to change terms of any, contract there has to be a signed addendum by both parties...

I agree that is what the main problem is, drivers finding something better after booking a load and wanting to cancel and book the better load.

With just the verbiage that is used when you "assign" a load. It means you have assigned it to you, but you haven't accepted it. You haven't seen the shipper or the consignee yet, you don't know if it's something you want to run until you know who the customer is.

Do you get to see who the shipper and consignee is before you assign the load to yourself or is it a blind assign until it's been booked?

Now I haven't dealt with brokers, but my understanding is the broker sends you a confirmation rate sheet with all the information of the load before you sign, "ACCEPT" it, and send it back before the load is yours. This shouldn't be any different right?

Yes I can see who the customers are, the weight, pu and drop times on all my loads before I choose a load.

Yeah we can't see the customer until we assign the load. That's a major difference for sure.

So what I'm getting from your post is that it's ok to (assign) a load(let's say was a steal) then drive to the shipper to pick it up.

However, let's say the load was not ready and the estimate time was about 5 hours(because you know how some places take their sweet time). At that point you can call to take the load off and proceed to assign a new load? So the moral of the story"Don't accept a load on the Qualcomm until you confirm face to face?"

Each one of us handles they day to day garbage that SNI spits out differently.
So what's the point of discussing it here?

    NONE.

When you have people on the cheer leading squad defending everything that SNI does it's pointless.
Apparently it's SOME of us getting messages..the troublemakers.
    Right Rickybobby?
No one said a message was sent out stating that you can't cancel a load..it was VERBAL.
    Why was it verbal?
Because they can't enforce it without a contract change..unless YOU let them.
And then it's said..must be a Charlotte thing.
    Right Duddie?
If you are dumb enough to think it's not going to effect you..keep dreaming.
The word has already started to get out to the GB IC's.

Some of you will never learn..

@Dogals right foot I was simply making a joke.. But I never received a message and I run out of GB.. But the fact that you have to call me anything other my name is really bothering me because I'm willing to bet the house that if you saw in person you wouldn't... Cut the crap
