Turns out he had to back in a dock right behind him, so that's why he got up in the mud... It took 2 tow trucks to get him out,

Drivers like that are one of the reasons I left Swift. It gets really old having that kind of reputation.

I accidentally might have recruited someone.

So, last night at the truckstop, I had to defend Obamacare again on the CB, and actually a long and intelligent conversation between me and the 2 other drivers insued. Yeah, insued. If that's a word, somewhere he asked for my truck number so I would get a bonus, BUT, I don't recruit and wouldn't give it out. And told him he would hate every second he worked here, I hope he was bull ####ting me and had a way better job then me. The other driver 47 grand and was home every week a couple times, that's great.
The only good thing I said about Crete was, last year I took a LOT of hometime and didn't try to run miles and still made 56 grand.

Sure, I could have tried and ran harder, like the old stressful days. But I lowered my expected miles per month to Poly levels. I ####ed off and ran 108,000 miles last year, if I'd have tried, and begged, what? An extra 5 grand? Who cares

    ArmyGuy and carramrod32 Thank this.

    I was a slacker and ran 110 to 115/year.
    I was an independent contractor.
In my earlier days I would run 138k , but that was a different time.
I knew guys that ran 150k consistently. That was years ago.

It's nice running less miles and not tcalling and everything.
And enjoying the Indiana Kentucky game today, I had Kentucky to win it all,

It is a word, although it is spelled "ensue" and you got bonus points for using it correctly!
