Filled out my application with Roadrunner on Weds, heard from them that afternoon that they received. Today phone call all approved. Received letter of intent from Quality and did not like some of the answers, especially about the grace period, starts the day you sign the contract and if there is something wrong with the truck, will not put it into shop until you sign the contract. Talked to both the recruiter for A&A and roadrunner today and they both told me to hold of until ready to jump when I return from the Philippines and they might have a open truck that I can do in house lease. The recruiter was telling me that she has heard from lots of drivers that are not happy with the way Quality starts out. Ohh, as far as the inventory, I was trying to look yesterday and was seeing no trucks in their inventory. Was seeing a t680, same photo for 3 different locations.
R.Hagar Thanks this. -
I went and bought my own.. I couldn't get ahold of my local quality yard, and they wouldn't tell. Me what they actually had in indy. I wouldn't take a used truck for what they want on payments.
Hollie told me if I went through quality, it had to be a 2015 or newer.
I found a great truck at a great price and didn't do to bad on financing.
I should be there the 4th.HAWAIIANTHRIVER Thanks this. -
I will not be there until middle May. I was also told 2015 or newer which is what I want, but prefer in house if possible when I get back in country

Tim offered me a 2014 t660... wasn't what I wanted so I passed.

I got back in the game with A and A. Leased a 2013 T680 , 550 a week , 4 years , zero buyout . Tim's a straight guy , Dan's the best safety guy I've ever met , drive for 30 plus years , really cool. It's not a warm atmosphere but they're direct . Tim fronted me a grand before I even took my first load and if your truck breaks down or needs tires they cover and deduct . Their shop prices were a bit high but mechanics were ok and friendly . Averaged 1.30 to 1.50 Midwest to West and 1.70 to 2.10 West to Midwest. They have a lot of 10,20 plus year drivers and a few fleet owners . Mostly set accounts , produce , meat, etc . I was with them 18 months , decent overall experience , left to drive team with my wife at Custom Critical

And average 3500 miles a week \ solo . It's not team friendly freight but average length of haul is 1600 miles plus

Curious to know what you mean by not a warm atmosphere.

They are quiet and to the point... Not forth coming with information or assistance. You want to know something ask... With that said, once they get to know you.. It gets a lot better.
