The camara doesn't "monitor". It's an event recorder. It only saves the video and audio just before and just after an event.

But my point was you have to sign a contract agreeing to work for Swift. I have read numerous comments that there was no contractual obligation to work for Swift, which I had a hard time believing. While the screenshot I posted was some preliminary paperwork they sent me and not an actual contract, I would expect the paperwork you are required to sign for training to include that same employment obligation.

Believe what you want. But the only thing they can hold you to is to pay back the full rate tution for the school.

The agree to work contract only gives you the discounted rate for the school.

It's not about what I want to believe; there is a contract to drive for Swift when multiple people have said there is no contract to drive for Swift. I know any person can walk away from any company sponsored training program and wait for the bill in the mail, but some people made it sound as though you could enroll in the Swift Academy and tell them you were going to drive for someone else.

The contract isn't to get the training ... the contract is for the 0% loan and Swift to pay for 50% of the training.

Yes, if you work for swift for 2years the training is free. 1 year, no financial obligation. If you breach the contract and leave early, then you pay back the full 3900.

There is no obligation to work for them, you can quit and take your CDL elsewhere. You just owe them 3900 if you do.

This isn't true either. You only owe the BALANCE. Every cent you pay through payroll is deducted from the balance. The "contract" is a simple loan repayment agreement for the unpayed balance. There is no "breach of contract" clause. You sign a zero finance loan agreeing to repay Swift through payroll deduction and the BALANCE (if any) is due immediately upon separation.

The balance is decrimented by $37.50 each week (paycheck). You work 6 months, you only owe $1950. You work 1 month you owe $3750. You work only 1 week, you owe $3862.50
