I am looking at both sizes... Not sure which one I will get yet... I think the smaller one will be a good option for truck dash info... About the size of a larger GPS unit.

I just watched the videos in the link. I wasn't even aware of all the different ways to use it.

If you are patient and can wait a few days it looks like you could get a lower price. I haggled a bit and they gave me $25 off.

Many people are not aware that you can haggle at places like Verizon. I always ask for discounts and frequently get them.

So in addition to getting a discount, the sales rep installed the screen protector for me as well. Not that I can't do it myself, but people who do several a day get good at it. I always seem to take too long and then a spec of dust lands right where I don't want it.

Now I need to decide if Copilot is worth $150. I have an atlas and a Garmin DEZL 560. Maybe I'll wait a bit.

CoPilot has historically gone on sale for $99 in the fall or early winter. It may not be worth the $50 savings to wait but just tossing it out there.

I have CoPilot installed on both my iPhone 6S Plus and my older iPad Gen 3... It runs a bit slow on the older iPad but runs fine on the new iPhone.

I have a few frustrations with CoPilot so you might end up using it in conjunction with your stand alone GPS or other Apps.

Currently running a mini 2. The size works real well in the truck. Big enough to read and see for most things.
Use it for log, weather mostly.

if you decide on the mini, you can get mounts that will hold it very secure. the one I have was in a green package at the truck stop, no cost, used points. the cool part about this is you can plug the USB into the radio for audio output from the ipad, and keep it charged.

Ya, I have two places in the truck that the mini would fit perfectly... And like you said, nice and close to a usb plug in the dash too. And will make a perfect information center.

I was thinking of just using Velcro to stick it to the visor and just flip it down when needed. Or just hang it on my Qualcomm since that is rather useless when driving.
