GAME OF THRONES SEASON 5 IS FINALLY OUT ON DVD!!!!!

Grabbed one, hugged it close, and backed out of the aisle, looking around wide-eyed in a hunched stance and whispering "Precious! My Preciouuuussssss!!!!" in a creepy high pitched voice.

Guy next to my wife (who was trying to look completely unaffiliated with me) said, "I think he's a little confused."

 

A couple of very attractive twenty-something gals were staring at me in the line from across the Arby's. One leaned to the other and said something and the other nodded enthusiastically--I'm not much of a lip reader but it looked something like, "I'd hit that!" The effect was helped by the lip biting and hair twirling.

My ego turned out to be unjustifiably boosted, though, as I turned around to order and nearly collided with the beefy, Conan-looking EMT standing behind me in his painted on T-shirt and tight jeans, and his body by Gold's Gym. They hadn't even seen me. Ego, stripped.

In all fairness, he was pretty hot.

 

Headed to Laredo. Wrong direction, but was told if I didn't take this run I'd sit all weekend because of Easter. "We'll get you home from Laredo."

Hot Chick had to put off her parents again. The plan is to drop her off, get to Indy, then clean out the truck. Either Holland will work out or I'll figure something out. This place has become an entirely different company in the year I've been gone.

They've abandoned all pretense of being anything but a training company. And they seem to want the experienced drivers out.

 

Offer from Holland has been on the table for like a month; been trying to get a false report off my DAC.

Last thing I need is to show up for orientation then get sent home at the last minute.

 

Why do all the film makers in Hollywood think Jesus was Irish Caucasian?

(Watching another Jesus movie, this one on History Channel. Jesus looks like he came from Wales, not Bethlehem)
