trying to get on in leesport,pa what area do the the truck load driver run

 

On ptp, you could go anywhere (not west coast) mainly Advance NC for other plants. Most likely you'd stay in the NE region that gets serviced out of Leesport.

 

what kind of miles do they run a week and home time thanks

 

Avg around 2800-3000 a week out here in WI. Not sure out there, guessing similar. But we don't make big bucks on big miles. It's all about lots of drops. We get paid for drops, so if you do 2700, but lots of short trips, you'll make more than say 3200 in a cpl long trips. Home time varies, but your home every weekend.

 

What trucks do they run out of Leesport,pa

 

Some volvos, some KW.

 

Volvo 780, and same size KW,s, and slightly smaller volvos, and they run a good amount of day cabs, they all run 48s, 53, and pups

 

When do they make the decision if you're hired or not?? I had a phone interview today, I have another phone interview on Monday

 

When your done your 2nd one and they give a thumbs up so to speak, you are basically in, it's just a paper work that will finish it up, about the only thing that could jeperdize your chances is a Skelton in the closet if u know what I mean, lol. Most likely will be talking to Regional Driver MGR, in the area u would be working.
