I don't do tv. But I have unlimited internet in the truck with pretty good coverage though the whole US. Its expensive but worth it to me. There are truck mounts that do work though for satelite tv in the cab. Normal price per month but the dish costs more.

Internet best bet will be Cell Phone Data.

There are some options for Sat TV, don't think most will work while in motion
You said Co Driver so I'm guessing you're Teaming?

I use Verizon Jet Pack. Its a little expensive like they say. But it lets me get the internet everywhere I go with no hassles.

Satellite tv for truckers/rv'ers is expensive. Dish and Direct tv have programs for people that travel. The biggest expense is buying the antenna and receiver. Wineguard has a website that offers both for about $500 with free shipping and a free window mount for trucks.

Almost now, most TA's/Petros have the same package, a combo antenna and receiver for $550 w/a $50 mail in rebate. On the Wineguard site, there is a link to Dish to see the programs and packages and prices. Some people already with Dish say its just $7/month to add a second or another receiver. So if you have it already at your house, its not gonna be that expensive to add it to your truck. But its stationary, not for use while moving.

When i was out here 15 years ago. I had a pole that slide over another pole. With the dish antannae mounted. When we parked. I'd raise the poles, angle the dish, lock the poles. The extra receiver to my account was $5. Today, i have internet and watch netflix.

Its so funny, yes back in the day, it was common to see a piece of pvc pipe tied to a side mirror of a truck.

But with the big box analog t.v.s that drank electricity and the receiver, I burned through 3 alternators before some guy replaced my also dead batteries by that time.

I now have a 40" flat screen smart tv that uses only 83 watts, and a dvd player that uses even less than that.

My data plan with Verizon doesn't let me watch a great deal of stuff, other wise I get hit with a $10 per G, overage fee, which gets very expensive. My problem with trkstp wifi is, is that once 20 or 30 other trks get online, the pay for wifi turns to crap.

I think some people really like T Moble for more options for getting shows and tv programs without running up a huge bill.

    Still see the PVC Pipes.

I have both an Old Unlimited Verizon Plan and DirectTV in the Truck..
Some companies are putting Sat. TV in the Truck now also.
