Is it just me or does anyone else get washed over by feelings of joy and happiness when they're finally able to quit a #### job?

    Today I am feeling happy!

Well, for the next week anyway, lol.

I felt like a million bucks when I handed in my written two week notice. I liked the carrier all right, but customer company we were dedicated to made things miserable.

Also a good thing when a few months later I saw one of the cubicle monkeys that caused me so much aggravation at a stoplight and I gave him a ####-eating grin and the double bird. A childish act, of course. I laughed all the way home at the look on his face.

Exactly! People were really nice but the freight sucked! I do not recommend hauling auto parts from Ford and GM on paper logs.

I had that feeling 2 weeks ago! I HATED the company I ran for. They were stubborn, slow, and everybody in the office passed the buck, just waiting for their shift end. They used a horrible computer, with a horrible interface, with horrible elog functions. I wanted to rip that thing off the dash. They advertise heavily for teams and didn't have any team freight. Most of the drivers there were goobers and were happy making crap money. I asked one driver why he stayed, and he replied he was "too lazy to look for another job".

Can't help but wonder how people stay at some of these companies. Talk to a guy the other day that had been at CRENGLAND for 12 years. I guess if you're happy, you're happy

Well this is why it's so very important to take a good hard look at the trucking company before putting an app in with them....

On the flip side of this Alot depends on the driver's addittude even if the company is rotten
.... We understand there are some trucking companies that are hard to stomach but with experience the driver learns to dodge those bullets by not even giving those companies the time of day

Yeah. I had been on elogs and I thought it would be really cool to be on paper logs. What I didn't realize is zee Russians would be making me work 18-20 hour days and I would be running three logs a day.

Now I'm more confused than ever, lol

    Dominick253 Thanks this.
