Have no idea how fast the truck was actually going at the time of impact, but where it happened is right where I-85 has a speed limit change from 60 to 65.

I figured as much,I knew the speed limit on that stretch varied between the I-485 beltway to the I-77 interchanges(from 55 m.p.h. to 60 m.p.h).

When I first started at Schneider some guy was trying to talk me into teaming with him and that I could move in with him in Wisconsin if I wanted to lol. Yeah sure creepy guy.

A couple days later we were on the simulator doing the mountain grade simulation. The same guy just left it in 10th and blew down the mountain at 90 mph. Then at the bottom of the hill he blew a red light and t-boned a school bus.

I guess there's at least some value in the simulator. Figured out pretty quickly why teaming with this guy would have been a bad idea.

i guess some view a simulator as a video game.

Trainer was probably in the sleeper passed out. Forcing student to run graveyard shift like a team operation. It's lunancy for anyone to put a student behind the wheel and not be sitting shotgun monitoring everything, especially when it's 4:30am
