No warning light,.. I guess if I hear a loud crunching, crashing noise while passing under a bridge and perhaps a disgruntled 4 wheeler pulling up next to me,.. that might be a strong clue that I forgot to lower it.
I have a set of routines I perform each and every day when I pre-trip my truck. I have a Honda EU3000i generator that I use instead of an APU, and one of the first things I do after checking my fluids is shutting off the generator and closing it up to make it ready for travel. Plus I like to sleep with the TV on,.. so I'm pretty confident I wont leave it up,.. as seeing the TV on will remind me to lower the Satellite dish.
That pole and dish will be up every time I stop for sleep. 34? Who has time to take a 34?

Thought I had recalled U complaining about "forgetfulness " as U get older, something that I'm familiar with. Good luck with it and enjoy!
Hurst Thanks this. -
My truck is not much to look at.. but I never fear any dot inspection. In fact I'm usually smiling when they pull me aside.
