Obviously no one taught you how to stack the bales properly....

This is how you maximize the space on your truck.... Also another reason for a long wheelbase truck.

HUGE pain in the rear end to load and secure. And I don't know if it was necessary, but I started loading making sure the skids were centred, then once I starting tying down I had the forklift guy come back out and push the molds together on the skids, to make things more secure.

I stopped first after an hour like I usually do, to check the load and securement. Tightened two chains. When I stopped for the night I checked again, and had to tighten a couple straps from load shifting.

12 chains and 12 straps total I think. Probably overkill, but I don't care.

I hate the roads in Michigan. o_O

This was real fun to tarp, especially the back half. I had a few new holes in my rear tarp when I got where I was going.

20160407_231720.jpg 20160407_171705.jpg Darn you mj and my hay. I ended up with your load. Ended up spending 30 mins securing a piece that had shifted too. Never trust a shipper and plastic bands. I've got just about every strap I have on this 11k lb load. Well at least I was able to stop and be a tourist today.
