It is expensive where I live. I find it ridiculous to make anything under $1500 working full time in a tanker. Think I will just go retire at ABF then

I consistently pulled $1200 a week hauling God #### ground loads of junk from China for swift and I can't make $1500 a week hauling dangerous product people pay millions of dollars for per day. What a effing joke this industry is.

You have almost no chance of making $2k a week as a newbee company driver. Unless you get on with a top shelf company in a major city...LA or NY etc.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -

^^^ I second that question!~
slim shady Thanks this. -
Haya, @EZ Money ; any tips for the OP? I should've mentioned you earlier; you got into a heluva good gig as well. It's do-able. Does pay better. Safety and knowing wtf you are doing is paramount; as i'm sure you agree!
Anyone know where the OP lives? That helps, too!EZ Money and MovingMetal Thank this. -

If he is making that kind of money at ABF he should hang in there.
I know the top pay for fuel hauling in my area is around 70k...
I agree that his location will help a bunch...If he is in the North East or West coast then I could see a good jump in pay....G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
How's hauling going, EZ ? ? ? I enjoy your thread; as a fellow tank-yank !
