Back up assist for the mega carriers

In all honesty, I like just about everything about the F150. I just can't seem to grow to like the design of the front and rear clips. Not at all liking the 2016 GM/Chevy 1500 grills or the new Ram grills either.

 

Never been a fan of the Ram, either , or any dodge pickups except old power wagons . My favorite Silverado is the Z71.

 

not to be too political, but Ford just got lucky and secured a giant line of credit right before the economy tanked, so they could weather the storm better then GM. It was just luck on their part....
Back in 2008 with GM hurting, I could have got a brand new 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive work truck with the 6 liter engine for $19,800, not a bad price, but I thought that the next month I could get it for 18 something,

I was going to have a new truck cheap..... We bailed out GM and when I went back to the dealer about 4 weeks later, the price was now 24,900 ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now GM is mostly doing subprime 84 month loans on a vehicle that will be wore out before it's paid off, wmt

 

84 month loans??????? Holy ####! Apart from retirees who use their pickup to tow a 5th wheel once or twice a summer, who really keeps a vehicle 7 years? My 2011 Chev is 5 years old now and has 276k on the clock. I think I can easily push 300k or more out of it but for peace of mind I'm already looking at getting a new one again.

 

I rent a car when I go somewhere far off, otherwise I drive my old 83 Chevy 2500,

My Silverado is an '01 with 125k, my Dakota is an '01 with around 90k, my son-in-law's Hemi Ram has 100k and both the Dodges have had the front end rebuilt, his has been rebuilt 2x, and is starting to fail again, an Explorer I use to own had the front wheel almost fall off at 90k. These front ends needed work because they use press on sealed bearing instead of the old threaded hub (that is greaseable). My Silverado purrrrrs like a kitten. We use it to go get parts when the others break down. I do agree with the ugly front end on those Ram's though, what are those little things in the grill, Ram air thru the radiator, or high mounted tow hooks so the pull truck doesn't have to crawl underneath looking for a place to hook a tow chain?
