    I've been disabled since 2007 and I'm trying to get back into trucking which I miss and love more than anything. for the past year or so I've been working out trying to get my self fit again to pass the DOT physical. I've read all the bad reviews about Hurricane i called to ask questions about the bad reviews they just hang up on me. so I guess I'll have to find some place else to go. if anyone has any suggestions about where I can go to be a Lease operator my e-mail is docholiday1962@hot mail.com. And thanks to everyone who look out for us other truckers who are trying to get back into a Big Rig...

    Lease Operator is NOT the way I would get back into a truck, but to each his own.

    Hey Doc (Great handle BTW!),
    Too many of the companies out here are not worthy of leasing with... many of them simply FLEECE the driver instead of leasing to them!
    However... if I may make a couple suggestions.
    One... check out Hill Brothers at: www . hillbros . com
    And two... check out JCT (John Christner Trucking) at:
    www. johnchristner . com

    On each just click the Lease To Own or Lease Purchase link...

    Both of these are reefer, but I've heard nothing but good from several of each of their drivers. With Hill Bros. you can either have a minimum of $2000 down, or drive for 2 months as a company driver (which in your case, I'd drive the 2 months to get yourself back in the saddle and get used to this life again, and that company)... then you'd be eligible for a lease purchase.

    Anyway... there's my 2 cents worth :yes2557::toothy7:

    With all the bad this company has following it on the net. How is it that nowadays in this technological world we live in that people still can go there completely clueless and get the shaft

    Do some reading here before you jump into that. Horror stories abound here about drivers losing their shirts after trying that. You'd be hard pressed to find such an arrangement that isn't HEAVILY skewed in favor of the company.

    You got to be kidding me JCT is horrible and have nothing but horrible reviews. I've met so many of them who aren't even making more than $900 a week. 5 years to pay off a truck at $.90 a mile lol. Try pay the same as they did ten years ago lol
