Hello talk to a recruiter today and they claim 60 cpm if you run over 1700 miles per week and 4 cpm if you turn in all pw. North east runs down to the Carolinas. My question is does anyone have any new info on them and if it's a good place to call home. I'm looking for a place to sit my ### down at and call it home for a good while.

Every where I go you run into at least one or two of their Coronados running a load.

I don't know much about this company, but I was talking to one of their drivers one time at a shipper, and he was complaining about dispatch questioning him about shutting down an hour early on a run. He had an hour left on his e-log clock, but shut down at the last available truckstop so he could eat dinner and shower, and they supposedly gave him crap about not running his clock out.

That's one reason I say dispatchers are people that lack the skill to drive a truck. Calling them a " driver manager" doesn't make them more intelligent. Back in the 1970's when I started, you would literally drive until you couldn't keep it on the road any longer then pull off on the side of the road and sleep. Sometimes drivers would be so tired, they would sleep over the steering wheel.
The idiot dispatcher should know finding a safe place to park is more important than running the clock out.

    skinnytrucker and mjd4277 Thank this.

And in a few parts of the country you have to sometimes think TWO HOURS AHEAD instead of one on where you're going to safely shut down the truck.
