Who are you FAXing your hotel
    receipts to ?

Yes , breakdown away from Poly
if you want quick repairs .

Poly is still the best gig I have ever had.
    Lots of Freedom here

One of the old hands at Poly told me
if you want to last here and not go nuts
simply stop expecting them to change.

Just be prepared to part with some cash
in GP if they don't have a loaner available.

Yes ! WalMart has e-logs, many many many many many rules, they "slip seat" and they don't have the time off that Poly has. With Poly, so long as you average 2,000 mi a week you can take time off.

Poly doesn't pester you all day like Millis does and presumably Wal Mart would.

P.S. It's not really a big deal to get an offer from Wal-Mart so long as you meet the simple requirements and pass their simple tests. Must have 3 yrs experience and be willing to get hazmat endorsement.

1st test is over the phone. They ask questions such as: safe following distance, distance it takes to stop at xx mph and Wal Mart asks you what parts of the truck you use to back-up.

Horn (gotta hit horn before backing), mirrors, clutch, accelerator, seat belt, steering wheel, brake.

Then you go in and talk to the director of personnel and answer his questions, then the safety director, then the road test and physical. Then you're in.

They have a site showing all locations hiring drivers.

Gotcha...the slip seating sucks, but hearing that many are making 100k+/yr and home on weekends I am really looking forward to getting the experience for minimum qualifications lol

I talked a few guys who live in the Carolinas and Ga . They drop their tractor
at the shop and head home from GP.
Once they get the call that it's ready
they put their self on the load board
and head back to Texas .
Turns out a few tanks of fuel and a little
driving and the Grand Prarie problem is
    solved .

    :)

I don't believe that's true. They can make 80k and be home on weekends.

Gotta work weekends to make over 100k. There's a spot either on this or some other trucker forum for Walmart drivers who can give better details.

With the way the fleets always breaking down, they need a .15 a mile raise just to consider staying. I talked to a friend's of mine there and he's broke down for the 8th time this Year.... Unreal.. And yea he told me Poly had about 80% more outside carriers coming in while leaving their drivers with scraps.

Unless you are handed a fairly new truck
upon completing orientation Poly is pretty much a set up for failure in its current state of affairs folks.

From experience Outside Contractors generally set me back 1- 2 days pay / driving

And yes , looking at the latest offerings
from dispatch I can confirm I am running
on scraps . Been this way for a little over
a month . Maybe just a slow time of the year , who knows

    Oh well
