From what I heard, Fed Ex Express is basically their version of UPS Parcel. Only way you can get the job is from within. You start off as a warehouse worker, package delivery driver, then up to tractor trailer driver doing linehaul work, airport runs, Amazon pickups, etc. It's almost exactly the way UPS does it with their feeder driver position.

One thing you have to remember is that it's $17.40 PLUS overtime and you'll likely get 5-10 hrs overtime per week. So $17/hr is not as handicapped as it may seem (although, yeah it still sucks). See my paystubs.

Yeah but once you switch over to linehaul in a couple months, it's not gonna suck as much, with almost a $30 k increase in pay. Not to mention it's not even top rate either.

I'm just surprised USF Reddaway still pays more to start , than these two bigger companies....

Union job. It's the only thing I don't like about the union, their progressive pay scale, although FXF does start you off at a decent pay rate, but UPS in the long run pays more.

it depends on your work history, your mvr and how bad you want the job. You'll get a day and time for interview.Last about an hour. You do need to dress for success.UPS has been known to hire without exp but you need to prove to them you're the right person for the job.

Yeah, you're right. It's just I don't want to wait 4 years to start making the real money, but that's just me. Many things can happen between year 1 and 4

I see. You gotta be one of the lucky ones, in other words... That's how I got hired here with Reddaway. They took me with very little experience and I'll forever be grateful

Then probably go for FXF. It's the main reason a lot of people decide to work for them, because they don't want to starve waiting 4 years to reach top rate. I don't know how much Reddeway starts off, but FXF starts around $24.

Reddaway starts at $18.46 but they just raised .38 cents or something like that. The great thing is that you pay nothing for health insurance.

$24. For FedEx sound great, I'll keep building my resume here, work hard and try applying when I feel they'd want me.
