Yep. You are in and out of the truck twice to disconnect and twice to connect.

Did you remember it before you drove it off? AND you are on a nice level gravel road. Where's the mud?

You always get out once. If you are set up right, you can slide the 5th wheel forward to set the neck on the ramps, or as one of my trucks was, I could just pull away. If you have to insert the 3' board, then your out of the truck twice. BUT, it never hurts to get a little exersize.

That's all I could think of. I may have spotted some chains up around the end of the stick but I can't see the pic to well on the phone.

@cnsper the MUD was off to the side of the road so this was where it gets unloaded! Puzzler: The 2 blocks layin off to the side? Why? Had to load an SD-70 to go back to the yard. Was'nt much but I like these little puzzlers. Makes us all more observent.

Did not even pay attention to them. I see so much dunnage it all looks like stuff that was saved from the wood stove to me... LOL We have some aluminum ramps up in the necks of all our trailers. I can get a pick of them tomorrow. I use them maybe 4-5 times a year as most of the stuff we haul has tracks or big tires but we still do haul trucks and rollers on occasion.

@truckdad These are the ramps that we have for our trailers. They all ride in the neck of the trailer. I only use them for things that cannot jump up on the trailer. The trailer in the pic is also the one that has a 26' deck. Of course they put a new leveling valve on it yesterday and it just pisses out air and overinflates the bags.
