I dont remember the details but Schneider has a good warranty on Kenworth as well.
It would be a new crate Engine but they told me the process would take 3-4 weeks :(

I have an idea, I will buy a used truck and base it in Gary at the OC...nothing special and rent it out to fellow IC's. Now I know it may be a stretch getting Schneider to put a Quallcaom in it.....but just saying at least you will be able to make some money and the truck is in a great market...thoughts???

I'm kind of laughing, but I tried to buy a used SNI truck last year. I had financing lined up and a truck picked out. The truck was going to be transferred to another OC so I told her I'd buy it instead. She told me she had to get a price and she'd call me back. I left 4 vm's for her over the next 2 weeks and she'd never call me back so I bought my Mack. 3 months later she called me asking if I still wanted to truck.

Sounds cool and all but Schneider would never let you do that.

If they are talking an extended period of time will Schneider let you rent a truck from Penske or similar so that you are able to continue working?

No....Schneider requires there qualcomm to be in the unit, the truck must also be approved by them which isnt that hard but takes time and finally it has to be DOT Inspection quarterly...you cant even rent a turned in truck thats just sitting doing nothing on there lot...its kinda messed up.
