I got my cdl at 19 as well. It took knowing some people and the right lies of "have you ever?" Conversations with the "yup, sure have" reply. I got in with a small company that only had 8 trucks. We were all 1099 and claimed self employed. (Tax scam) either way not sure if I was insured or not but I trained for one day and have been on the since.

$100,000 a year, is this in reference to key management people, or the workingman on the loading docks or driving the trucks?

I ain't gonna call you a liar but that seems like a rather large sum of money to be paying some idiot to read addresses and put the wrong package on the wrong doorstep. no offense but I'd like to see proof of this.

I suspect that United Parcel Service, (UPS), workers are currently being represented by the Teamsters, and that some very powerful contracts are or have been negotiated for both the drivers and the dockworkers.

If that kind of money is being paid out to the drivers and loading dockworkers, UPS is seriously running the risk of being put of business.

Customers must be paying EXORBITANT freight charges and fees for the company to be able to pay their workers that kind of money.

    HOLY MOSES!!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
