I see nothing wrong with that, as long as the paychecks don't bounce.

Who cares if they have you pick up late loads? If you have e-logs you can only drive and work so many hours in a duty period. The load will get there when it gets there. As long as you aren't getting service failures, just pick it up and run it.

Have you ever shown up at a customer late for an appointment? Many customers will get attitude with the driver even if them being late was beyond their control...then they will typically make your appointment a "work in" which means you could sit for many hours with no detention pay before you get up to the dock...or worse yet you show up after hours for a Friday appt. and sit the whole weekend waiting for them to re-open on Monday. I know it's part of the job sometimes, but if it were a consistent thing I would look for work elsewhere.

I agree with everything here, and I've done the work in thing, myself, and it sucks, but I've also picked late loads where I got in almost immediately. It's a roll of the dice, but sometimes they just want to get the product off their warehouse floor.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your posts, but it seems to me you're saying that you would not mind being dispatched on late loads, even if it were a regular occurrence with a company you drive for. Am I correct?

Not correct. An occasional dispatch on a late load happens, and I have, in the past, just run them. If it were to happen nearly every load, then it would be a game changer, and I'd be having a talk with operations, and/or just moving on to another company.

I thought it was mandatory on Tribe Express threads that someone post photos of Tribe's hot CEO.

If that's not a rule it should be.

You and any other driver with a decent amount of common sense...I think that was the OP's #1 complaint about this company and a big reason they moved on.

Isn't Tribe Express "proudly owned by native American women" displayed on their trailers? Can anyone explain to me why she thinks that would matter?
Anyway,I had rather unpleasant experience with one of their driver .He parked like 1/4 inside oposite parking spot and when backing up i gently (and i mean gently) bumped into his trailer.Mind that even then i was like half of the cab in front of the rest of trucks.kinda felt stupid.so he came up to me and said "you SMASHED into my trailer!!!" and I am like "excuse me?you must not know the definition of "smashing" dude!and what's up with you being parked inside my parking spot?where did you learn to park like this?" but he insisted he parked just fine.Moron!
