Stay in the business long enough at some point you will successfully put a truck into a very hard place. You might even get out and look over the whole back. You will smile thinking hey I did this. From that day forward you will have the confidence you can tackle any difficult back. You will smile when you see a post like this one. Just give it time, trust me that confidence will come.

my very first job was backing trailers into docks with a yard goat truck. It took me about 4 weeks of doing this 8 hours a day nonstop to perfect my backing to the point where I could put that thing perfectly straight into the dock with no pull-ups, in about 25 seconds. You're going to get the hang of this. That little pup trailer your'e backing with in truck school is far more difficult to back than the 53' trailer, by the way.

Quit watching those videos. All they re going to do is confuse you.Listen to your trainer and ask questions.Take notes.Ask other students in your class for help. You can do it,it just takes time and practice.Watch how your trainer and students back.Study the trk and trailer to see what make is back a certain direction.Learn the concept of backing then it'll become real easy. That's how I learned.

You will learn that 90% of it, is how you set up to back. Your instructors will show you reference points on when to turn the wheel, etc., when you first start. Don't get discouraged. Never rush. Getting out and looking ( walk all the way round the truck ) will help you IMMENSLEY because you will gain a better perspective on what your doing.
The cement company I drove for, anytime you exited the cab for any reason, you were required to walk completely around the truck for safety.
    Its a good habit.

Hang your head out the window and Look Backwards and if you need your trailer to go to the right turn the wheel to the right and if you need the trailer to go to the left turn the wheel to the left

The first thing to do is to get out and look the area over. The next thing is to decide if you have enough room to slide your tandems all the way to the rear. Backing is much easier if your tandems are all the way back. You should always have your tandems fully back before you allow a folklift to bounce in your trailer. Look at the other trailers and where their wheels are in relationship to the yellow line. Keep your trailer the same distance from the yellow line as the other trailer are. Remember you are driving the trailer backwards. It will go where you tell it to go. If it is going the wrong way it is because you are turning the steering wheel the wrong direction. Pull up and try again. Also, feel free to ask for help. Truckers love to help.

Just take your time and don't get in a hurry. If there are a bunch of people waiting see if you can make enough room to let them through then continue. If you don't have the ability to play the GTA 5 you can always get a semi toy truck to play around with. That is one of the things my trainer did with me. Once your out on the road stop and practice whenever you can and you will be a pro in no time.
