Most of them will green light you. The thing that you have to be be extremely careful about are the signs.for example, in Georgia, it says ALL PERMITTED LOADS KEEP RIGHT. Yet, they give you the left arrow. The sign says go right. I go right. Put the drives on the scale. Roll down window. Lady asks, "You have a permit?" I show her page 3. She says ,"That is NOT a permit." Wow, I've always had them ask, and I was unsure if they could see from 2 stories up, but apparently they can. I show her page 1, she says to go ahead.

Louisiana is easy. The confusing one is Mississippi. The sign says to come inside and show permit. They green light me, I come inside and show permit. You can't get a ticket following the signs.

dumb daily.jpg i don't know if you'all can see in this pic. but a daily truck got high centered on the drive leaving this little fuelstop. at the end of the grass island. I was sure he was going to drop a driveline. finally a service truck pulled him back off the high spot. I hollered to him about the St. Louis cerfew. he said yeah he knew, kept right on truckin out the other drive hammer down. such a high caliper driver!

I've hauled a few of them 980s and we put them on a 9.6 wide Paron(loadstar) float. #### things are a touch over our annual permitted height every time. One of these days...lol
